I have been hearing it a lot the last two weeks, we are in the dog days of basketball. This week we were supposed to be having an off week. Instead our coach found us a tournament and so we spent the weekend in Battle Ground, Washington. And, instead of having the weekend off, we, as our coach says, had to "Get down to work". I guess that was the theme for the week, "get down to work".
The tournament went pretty well. The boys were bummed because they lost the championship game by two points to an extremely tough team. They really had nothing to feel bad about though. They fought hard and won 3 of 4 games over the weekend, with two blowout wins. And they qualified for the Washington state tournament, not that they will play in it, but nice to know that they could.
Jeremy and I also "got down to work" on our bathroom remodel. I got all the cabinets put back together early in the week and got most of the supplies gathered. The weekend we cut the countertop and set it, the sink, and the faucet. I am still deciding on what we want to do for the backsplash and while we have the new light fixture, we still need to get it installed. Most of the hard work is done though and at least we have a functional bathroom heading into the new week. Here are some "before" and, since we are not quite done, I will say "current" photos rather than "after".
As for the girls, they got off easy this week. I guess we need to put them tp work next week.
