Graduations

Whew! It's been a busy week! We have our last softball game and end of season celebration, our year-end 1st grade picnic, field day, basketball games, 2 (yes 2) high school graduations, and 2 graduation parties. While we still have three days of school left, I really felt the pressure of making it through this week.

Elsie's festivities involved the picnic, followed by field day. Per usual, I volunteered at field day, but I have already decided that next year I'm just going to watch  and not volunteer.

As for the graduations, Quincy and Colvin both graduated, Quincy from West Linn High and Colvin from Wilsonville. That meant back to back marathon graduation nights. This weekend we had not only their graduation party, but also my BFF's daughter, Daphne's, graduation party as well.

The basketball games this week were a mixed bag. Merrick was really dominate and played really well, but came down hard after being collided into while going up for a dunk. I took him for an x-ray today. Thankfully, it isn't broken, the dark line is his open growth plate, but he will be out of commission for a bit.
Just a few days now until summer. The finish line is in sight!
