Yesterday, Grandpa and Lollie got here early in the morning. We had a big breakfast all together and then Jeremy, Merrick, and Jeff drove to Seattle with the whole Lundberg side of the family for a Mariners game. This left Carrigan, Elsie, Carolyn and I to have a girls crafting day of fun. We started at Michael's and bought felt, 3D white chocolate candy molds in the shapes of a unicorn, llama, and unikitty, and a make your own puzzle. We came home and crafted our hearts out while Elsie napped.
In the afternoon we went to Hobby Lobby and bought more crafting supplies, went to Red Robin, and to Menchies for frozen yogurt. It was just about the perfect day.
As for the boys, they really enjoyed the game and Merrick came home with a stack of probaby 50 baseball cards. The ushers at the ballpark hand out baseball cards if a kid asks for one. Merrick said he and his cousins walked the entirety of the ballpark asking the ushers, sometimes multiple times, for baseball cards. One usher told the boys, "This is the second time you have hit me up for cards. Follow me." He took them to the room next to the entrance and gave them a stack of cards, they each got 12 from that usher, and he told them he didn't want to see them again. It was a long day full of burgers, root beer floats and baseball. They rolled in just after midnight.
Right now everyone is outside talking to Jensen and Carrigan and Carolyn are making terrarium necklaces. We are having a blast. What a way to send off summer!
