We discovered Dewper a few months ago and have been every week ever since. It is funny because Merrick did not like Dewper at first, but we talked about it and decided that he was actually our friend. After that Merrick was sold and he now decides whether or not he like things based on if they are our friend, like Dewper. For awhile he was afraid of the big outside trash cans, but one day he came to me and said "the trash is our friend, like Dewper". While I'm not sure I want him making friends with the trash can, I do like that we now measure our friends on a Dewper scale.
After Dewper, you will find us at the play area.
He went through a stage where he was constantly running out of the play area, but now he is a great little player.
Our next step is always the pet store. Merrick love to see the kitties, doggies, hamsters, and "carrots" (ferrets).
The last stop of the day is the carousel. Merrick likes to pick what he is going to ride on and then report it later to Daddy. Over the weeks he has ridden on horses, zebras, a rabbit, an eagle, a gorilla, and a dinosaur...no report on his favorite though.
After all this, Merrick is ready for a quick lunch and a nap. It is great way to spend a Thursday morning and we are going to miss our good friend Dewper.
I wondered what the Kids Club was all about!! Thursday has always been a crazy day at work and now I know why! It's nice to have a free place to take the kids for half a day!!
